  • Leading the Rebound

    This virtual institute, underwritten by 21CSLA, is being led by authors Doug Fisher and Nancy Frey. Included will be a copy of the Leading the Rebound eBook.

  • Equity and Access for All Students (Cultural Proficiency Certification)

    This training, underwritten by 21CSLA, is a cohort model for district/site teams whose goal is to build capacity for sustaining Equity and Access for all students. Teams will learn how to apply the concept and tools of cultural proficiency for completing self-guided equity assessments, and reviewing and developing equity action plans. Includes the Cultural Proficiency: A Manual for School Leaders (4th edition).

     

     OUTCOMES FROM THE PROFESSIONAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES INCLUDE:

    • Narrowing & closing access and education gaps.
    • Reducing and eliminating disproportional outcomes among student ableness, languages, discipline /behavior, and academic placement.
    • Building professional capital (CTAs) within the district to grow and support large scale change initiatives focused on access and equity for all students.

    PHASE I: Sept 14, Sept 28, Oct 12, 2021

    Understand the "inside-out” approach and the 4 tools of Cultural Proficiency as a response to educational and equity gaps.

     

    PHASE II: Oct 26, Nov 9, Nov 30, 2021

    Collect site-based data and analyze how Cultural Proficiency can inform practice. Use the five essential elements to turn values into action.

     

    PHASE III: Jan 25, Feb 8, Mar 1, Mar 15, 2022

    Use trainer-of-trainer model to prepare participants as certificated training associates (CTAs) to build capacity using the 4 tools of Cultural Proficiency in their school and district contexts.
