The ROP Construction sector provides a foundation in the building trades and construction industry for secondary students. Students engage in an instructional program that integrates academic and technical preparation focusing on career awareness, career exploration and skill preparation in the building trades and construction industry. The knowledge and skills are acquired within a sequential, standards-based pathway program that integrates hands-on, project-based, and work-based instruction. Character and employability skills are a viable element to this curriculum.
