    On January 17, 24, and 26, 2019 you are invited to observe the Mock Trial.  This trial involves two felondy counts: making a false report of an emergency and making a criminal threat.  For a full case brief visit California Rights Foundation Case Brief.

    The Mock Trial is a high school competition where students portray attorneys, witnesses, court clerks and bailiffs in a hypothetical court case.  Students will compete in a Madera County courtroom in front of a judge with attorneys from throughout the Valley scoring the competition.  Participating schools include: Liberty, Madera, Madera South, and Yosemite High Schools.

    January 17 - Madera Courthouse- 1:30-5:30 p.m.
    January 24 - Madera Courthouse- 1:30-5:30 p.m.
    January 26- Madera Courthouse- 8:30-11:00 a.m.  *Championship Round: Only the top two teams will compete.
