    Services provided include: classroom modifications, specialized equipment and instructional materials including large print, braille instruction, braille transcription and consultation with parents and teachers.

    Orientation and Mobility

    Orientation and mobility services are provided to blind or visually impaired students to enable them to achieve orientation and safe movement within their school, home and community environments.

    The focus of the services may include: learning to use a cane or service animal to supplement their travel skills, using other senses to establish and maintain a line of travel, and learning to use remaining vision or low vision aides to assist with safe travel.
